Description
Experience classical music in a truly unique setting: at night, surrounded by masterpieces, when the museum is closed to the public. The Magical Nights at the Gallery concerts offer a musical journey through three of the Gallery’s most special rooms: the Wall Room, the Philip IV Room, and the Music Room. The program revives the Spanish monarchy’s historical role as patrons of the arts, an essential force in the development of classical music.
Three top-tier ensembles – Inés Alonso & La Zarzamora, Víctor & Victoria, and Concerto 1700 – will guide you through two hours of music history. You’ll enjoy three microconcerts of about 30 minutes each, held simultaneously in the selected rooms. Each concert opens with a short introduction by a musician to contextualize the program alongside the artworks. After each microconcert, audiences rotate so everyone experiences the full program. The evening finishes with a meet-and-greet with the musicians in the museum’s main hall.
