Que puis-je faire si je ne trouve pas un programme de visite disponible

General public

  • Visit availability is shown on the website. If the desired date and time is not available, and the museum is open, visit the museum at another time or go to the ticket desk on the day of the visit.
  • Remember that at free-entry times it is not possible to book in advance through the website.

Tourist, educational and cultural groups

Advance booking availability is shown on the website. Log in with your username, select the museum and the desired date, and the different schedules available will be shown.

You can also use the website’s search facility, available on the home page “Search for the best day for your visit.” After logging in with your username, just select the venue, the date and the number of people in the group. Click “Search” to show the groups available for the selected day, as well as groups available for the two days prior to and after the date selected.

Note that demand for bookings on certain dates is very high, especially at certain venues; available groups may be booked out within hours or even minutes. Remember that visits can be booked 90 days in advance and are available for purchase from midnight. Some bookings are cancelled by customers, so after a few days new availability may appear.

Official Tourist Agencies and Guides for groups must also note also that unpaid bookings expire 7 days prior to the visit. It is therefore possible that certain group bookings may be available the day before the visit.

If in the end a booking cannot be made and the group decides to go without booking, the entrance waiting time cannot be guaranteed for the group, as this is subject to the capacity of the museum, as well as indications from ticket desk personnel and those responsible for access. In the case of the Madrid Royal Palace and the El Escorial Monastery, access is guaranteed as long as it is not close to closing time. If individual tickets are purchased, please note that it is not permitted to make a group visit with an official guide.
