On the occasion of the first anniversary of its inauguration, the Galería de las Colecciones Reales premieres summer cinema at the Mirador de la Galería. After sunset, you can enjoy a cycle of four Spanish films, related to history and the monarchy, which seek to unite different arts in one of the most special places in the city and give a cultural context to the collections exhibited in the Gallery.
Synopsis
Imperial Spain, 17th century. Diego Alatriste, a valiant soldier in the service of His Majesty, fights in the Flanders War. In an ambush by the Dutch, Balboa, his friend and comrade-in-arms, is mortally wounded and makes him a request that Alatriste promises to fulfil: to take care of his son Íñigo and keep him away from the profession of arms.
