Description
What does it mean to play? What do we play with today and what did people play with in the past? What did the children of royal families play with? Based on the Royal Toys exhibition, we reflect on our own relationship with play. We compare our experiences and the toys we use with those from more than a century ago, to recognize the historical evolution of this activity that children have always practiced. In the workshop, inspired by the pieces in the exhibition, we build our own model of a steamboat that transports us to those times that the exhibition invites us to imagine.
