Description
This program is the culmination of extensive work over many years of historical research and recovery, aiming to rescue from oblivion and give voice and life to unpublished works, never before recorded or performed, by Baroque women composers, both instrumental and vocal, found in manuscripts from libraries in Paris and Venice. Pieces by twelve composers from Italy, France, Spain, and England will be performed, including up to six unpublished works recovered through historical research (sonatas, suites, dances, correnti, airs).
