Description
This family workshop invites participants to discover surprising objects from the daily life of kings, queens, princes, and princesses at court, featured in the temporary exhibition "Weaving Courtly Life (Tejiendo la vida cortesana)".
After the tour, families will step into the shoes of artists and designers to create a unique piece of art. Inspired by one of the images selected during the visit, they will craft a collage full of textures using fabrics, yarn, cork, sequins, and other unexpected materials.
The composition is mounted on cardboard, and each participant will be able to craft their own frame so they can display their creation at home like a true masterpiece. A hands-on experience to observe, touch, imagine, and create as a family, all while discovering the art of textiles and courtly decoration.
