On the occasion of the first anniversary of its inauguration, the Galería de las Colecciones Reales premieres summer cinema at the Mirador de la Galería. After sunset, you can enjoy a cycle of four Spanish films, related to history and the monarchy, which seek to unite different arts in one of the most special places in the city and give a cultural context to the collections exhibited in the Gallery.
Synopsis
Spain, the first globalisation focuses on defending and disseminating the true facts of our complex and exciting history. The documentary dismantles the lies of a propaganda operation so effective in the past that it has been internalised by the descendants of those Spaniards of the peninsula and the Americas. It offers new readings on the historical period that began in the reign of the Catholic Monarchs, the discovery of America and the subsequent evolution of the history of Spain, dismantling the black legend at a time as necessary as the present.
