King's Gardens and the Island

Educational activity of visit-workshop that takes place in the Palace of Aranjuez.


To welcome spring, we will discover as a family some of the most surprising spaces linked to the Royal Palace of Aranjuez. We propose you to discover the history of its gardens, following a mysterious map that will test your orientation, full of paths, fountains, waterfalls, gods and sculptures, among many other curiosities. We will follow a route through a privileged environment to discover the King's Garden and the Island Garden, instilling respect for the environment and contemplating, from less usual places, the marvellous visit of the Palace. Nature, water and architecture will go hand in hand in this environment for the enjoyment and leisure of royal days.

• Days on which the activity will take place:
  • May: 11; 12; 18; 19 (LSE); 25; 26
  • June: 2; 8 and 9
• Times: Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Audience: families with children aged 6-12
• Capacity per activity session: 25 people
• Price per family group:
  • Family group of 2 members 12€
  • Family group of 3 members 16€
  • Family group of 4 members 20€

Important: The capacity of the sessions with (LSE) (Spanish Sign Language Interpreter) will be half for the general public. That is, only 15 participants. The rest of the places will be managed in another way.

Online sales available until the Friday before the activity at 10:00h. From that time until 15 minutes before the start of the activity, tickets will be available for purchase at the ticket offices.
