Description
This concert reunites all five instruments crafted by Antonio Stradivari preserved in the Royal Collections of National Heritage. The selected program is none other than Franz Schubert's String Quintet in C Major. It is the composer's final chamber work, written in 1828 and completed just two months before his death, with its first public performance taking place in 1850. It is widely considered Schubert's finest chamber work, as well as one of the greatest compositions in all of chamber music.
Featuring the Stradivarius String Quartet and Cello.
