Description
On the weekend of 22 and 23 March, we invite you to celebrate International Day of Forests at the Royal Collections Gallery with a very special activity. Designed for families with children aged 4 to 10, this storytelling session will help us discover the importance of forests and natural spaces in our lives.

Through the works of art on display in the Gallery, we will explore how landscapes and nature have been a source of inspiration for artists from different periods. We will also learn about the valuable natural environments that National Heritage protects and manages in the Royal Sites of Spain.

During the activity, the stories will transport us to enchanted forests and magical gardens, highlighting the essential role of trees in the balance of the planet: they purify the air, are home to a great diversity of life and offer an indispensable refuge for biodiversity. In addition, we will reflect on how conserving these natural spaces ensures that future generations can continue to enjoy them.
